What can you do with a little talent and a spy photo? A pretty cool rendering of a future NSX Super GT. Designer Jon Sibal took a spy picture of the future Acura NSX and did what plenty of rich fanboys are likely to do with their next NSX. He added a widebody kit and racing paint to make a full blown NSX GT racecar. Zenvo ST1: super car from Denmark!
Geographically, Denmark divides border with Sweden: the country where safety of cars leaves on the foreground. But one Danish automobile company has decided to remind the public that Denmark borders as well on Germany – one of leaders of world automotive industry. Sport car Zenvo ST1 became the first car which has been exhausted by the young company, and it has received a number of the impressing data. ST1 it is equipped 7,0 l by the V-shaped 8-cylinder engine with the integrated turbocharger and the separate turbine (yes, such it is possible, mad Danes!) Capacity of 1 104 h.p. at 1055 pound/foot of a twisting moment. While it is not known, who develops this engine, but, without dependence from the developer, experts Zenvo have calculated that with the similar engine the car can accelerate momentum from 0 to 100 km/hour of all for 3 seconds, and its maximum speed will make 375 km/hour. The first serial car will appear next year, and all 15 copies will be exhausted. Its definitive cost is covered by a veil of secrecy, but before purchase be ready to call the personal bank manager ))

Few muscle cars are as recognizable as the 1970 Plymouth Superbird, with its rear wing that stands proud over the car's rear haunches undoubtedly being the most striking visual modification, followed closely by the front snout that extends well past the front wheels for maximum aerodynamic efficiency. These cars were initially conceived to terrorize NASCAR race tracks in the late '60s and early '70s and were easily capable of cresting 200 miles per hour in race trim.
This is not an original Superbird, but it's been designed to replicate that car's iconic looks by a team consisting of the restoration specialists at YearOne and led by Bill Goldberg of Bullrun fame. Everything about this car is meant to recreate the original's NASCAR heritage, including the 800-horsepower race-spec 358 cubic-inch V8 engine. Unlike the real thing, though, this car was built to be totally street-legal. After all was said and done, the car earned $501,000 at the 2009 Barrett-Jackson auction, all of which will be donated to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation to benefit research of spinal cord injuries. In addition, another $175,000 was donated by other bidders to help the cause. Read the car's official auction description after the break.
Callaway launches supercharged Corvette for 2009
Chevrolet Corvette tuning specialist Callaway Cars has released yet another package for the iconic muscle car, with the latest kit centering around a supercharger upgrade for the standard 6.2L V8 model. Designed specifically for the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette, the new kit starts at $18,900 and lifts output to 580hp (433kW). While this isn’t a match for the 638hp (475kW) output of the supercharged ZR1, the Callaway Corvette is still capable of reaching speeds in excess of 200mph. Starting with GM’s LS3 V8, Callaway adds an Eaton supercharger, a fuel system with high-flow injectors, an air-to-liquid intercooler and a special air inlet.

Superformance GT40 MKII - Specialty File
In terms of motorsports lore and significance, few cars rate higher than Ford’s GT40, the race car that Henry Ford II built to topple Enzo Ferrari’s domination of the 24-hour Le Mans endurance race. The first GT40 wasn’t successful, but Ford won in 1966 with the Mark II version. Just more than 100 GT40s were built, and each surviving one has become a highly valued collector car easily commanding a seven-figure price today.
Superformance, a South African company that manufactures a line of Shelby Cobra and Daytona coupe replicas, has offered a price solution—its version of a GT40 can be had for “only” $125,000.
This replica is sold without the powertrain, a strategy that circumvents emissions and crash regulations, which the GT40 does not meet. Customers plunk down 80 grand and then add the other bits a la carte.
